Wideco in collaboration with Tele2 IoT is now presenting a bathing temperature buoy to measure water temperature at bathing sites. The temperature sensor uses LTE-M, this means that Wideco’s bathing buoy also works in places where there is limited coverage of the otherwise standard LoRaWAN network.
The sensor sends temperature data to Wideco’s integration platform, after which the customer selects one of the APIs that are available to retrieve the values and publish them on, for example, their website. Of course, you can also use Wideco’s own WISION platform to visualize and display temperature data. We have delivered a fine solution for measuring bathing temperatures to, for example, our customer Jämtkraft AB.
Wideco’s WISION is the platform on the market that has full support for LTE-M, NB-IOT and LoRaWAN already today.
